SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY EDWARDSVILLE ANNOUNCES SPECIAL TUITION RATE Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, located just outside St. Louis, Missouri, announces an exciting scholarship opportunity for international undergraduate students. This new scholarship will reduce tuition and be awarded to new international freshman beginning their studies at SIUE in Fall 2012 for up to eight semesters of full-time study.
The special tuition rate will reduce annual tuition for selected undergraduate international students from $13,000 to approximately $6,400 (excluding fees). Over four years, the award will have a value of approximately $28,000 when compared with traditional undergraduate international student tuition rates.



An awardee will be required to present a bank statement showing a minimum balance of $19,897 to meet immigration requirements and to be issued an I-20. No additional materials are necessary to be considered for the scholarship and the application fee for undergraduate international applications has been waived.

2012-2013 AHA International Scholarship at University of Oregon
For 2010-11, AHA International has allocated multiple scholarships between $500-1500. Selection is based on academic merit, financial need, and a well-completed scholarship application. Scholarships are available for students participating in the following AHA programs during the terms listed: Angers, France (spring); London, England (fall, winter, spring); Macerata, Italy (fall, spring); Oviedo, Spain (spring); Siena, Italy (fall, spring); and Vienna, Austria (fall, spring semester). The UO Study Abroad Programs Scholarship Committee will make the awards.
Additional AHA International Scholarship Requirements:
• Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student at the UO.
• Applicant must ultimately be accepted to participate in one of the AHA programs listed above.
• Applicant must have at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.
• Applicant must demonstrate financial need (based on FAFSA) and submit a copy of a current financial aid award letter. International students must complete a Financial Aid Worksheet, available at UO Study Abroad Programs.

Faculty position in Engineering, natural science and sustainable energy.
The School of Science and Engineering at Reykjavík University is looking for candidates to lead the academic program within the Reykjavík Energy Graduate School of Sustainable Systems (REYST). We are looking for a person with an interest in and knowledge of sustainable energy systems. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in engineering or natural science. Industry experience is beneficial, but not essential.

The REYST program is a cooperative effort between Reykjavík University and Reykjavík Energy. It offers a program of graduate studies leading to a MS degree in sustainable energy science or a MS degree in sustainable energy engineering. The REYST program is based on a broad foundation where all students are required to take classes on energy technology, geoscience and energy economics before specializing further. The REYST program has strong industrial ties and emphasises professional rigour.
